The black tea we have for you is a total surprise from what you may think a black tea from India should look like. It refers to a process of fully-oxidizing tea leaves, which can produce quite a range of colors. Not all black tea from India is dark in color, full-bodied and the kind you put milk and sugar in. This is orthodox style (long leaf), yielding a cup that looks like Grade A honey and has incredible smoothness. The flavor profile is oak, vanilla and carnation. It’s incredible!

Made just for Janam Tea by industry veteran, Rajen Barua, he produced for us a delightful leaf that sinks to the bottom of your cup, eliminating the need for a strainer or tea filter.
