This handmade tea is created by a group of small growers who get together and make their teas under the Yanki collective of small tea farmers. Oolong leaves are bruised, semi-oxidized and dried over an open flame so you get these handsome, rich chocolatey and toasted hazelnut notes. Not a tea for milk or sugar, this ultra-specialty tea is a treasure and can be re-steeped multiple times.

This oolong is incredibly unique as well because it’s from the fall, so it has enjoyed the benefit of the hot summer sun, saturating monsoons and, after that, a dry clear climate to exact these fine flavors.
